The company was founded in 1985 as an electrical maintenance company. Later our services were extended to engineering and energy efficiency. In 2007, we included specialization in photovoltaic installations, having carried out installations of all kinds and in all kinds of sectors: sales installations, power purchase agreements (PPAs), isolated irrigation systems, systems for UPS, etc. Because we have engineering, installation and maintenance departments, we can control the entire quality process.

PHOTOVOLTAIC SELF-CONSUMPTION

What is it?
A photovoltaic self-consumption installation is an installation that generates solar energy to be consumed in the facility itself. They are designed so that most of the energy generated is self-consumed within the installation. They maintain the connection to the electricity grid so that the user can retain the same quality of supply and their consumption is not just limited to photovoltaics. If surpluses are generated, current regulations allow them to be compensated so that this surplus energy can result in some savings. The Laws that currently regulate it are Royal Decree 15/2018 and 244/2019 which, in addition to shelving the “sun tax”, allows compensation for surplus energy or shared self-consumption.

ISOLATED SELF-CONSUMPTION

What is it?
These are installations that do not have access to the electricity grid of the distribution companies. To be so characterized, the consumer must be self-sufficient. In this type of system, good design is very important so that the user does not experience supply issues during normal use of the installation. Normally it will consist of photovoltaic modules and/or other types of renewable energy sources, batteries, inverters and battery chargers. At present, different types of batteries are installed but in all cases, they are usually the most expensive components of the installation. Lithium or lead-acid batteries are the most widely used technologies. It is advisable to have some type of support for renewables or different generation technologies to save on batteries.

ENERGY SALE INSTALLATION

What is it?
These are large photovoltaic installations in solar parks. The energy is generated to be sold to the grid, so the cost, at current low market prices, will only be profitable if the facilities are very large. Currently, the sale of photovoltaic energy is not prioritized, so the sale is to Power Pools directly or through bilateral sales contracts. They are normally installed very close to electrical substations that can take the installed power

ELECTRICITY CONSULTING

What is it?

Depending on the state of the electricity market and the type of consumer, one type of contract or another may be more applicable. A good design of the pumping system and of the photovoltaic installation itself is key so that the necessary pumping hours are covered. It is very important that the system has a good operating protocol in the event of cloud cover so that the pumping does not suffer in normal operation.

SOLAR MAINTENANCE

What is it?
Good maintenance in isolated installations, self-consumption systems or solar parks is essential. On the one hand, production will be maximized and problems that arise in the normal operation of a facility, such as hot spots and problems due to dirt or shadows will be identified.
